Open Streets Howard County

PROBLEM

Open Street is an initiative of the Horizon Foundation to promote a more bikeable and walkable Howard County. Their community event programs needed an update that would depict an inclusive image of the community as well as make event activities easy to access.

SOLUTION

For the event program design we focused on illustrations that would give a welcoming and human feeling while having the flexibility to represent a whole range of different types of people who are part of the community. We also used clean and crisp graphic treatments to make the materials easy to navigate while on the go and participating in the event.

RESULT

As a result of the strength of our original design we were able to adapt the styling for additional Open Streets events in order to build a familiar look and feel that people will be able to easily recognize
